Finding joy in the midst of suffering
Hello friends, I hope this newsletter finds you well and not in need of the words below. But if you do happen to be in a bit of a time or season where the waters are a bit choppy, I hope these words are a balm to your soul.
I’m getting back into the groove of writing and it’s personally exciting. I’ve intentionally and unintentionally taken time away from my Substack to give as much undivided attention to Kindred, my church plant. But in this season, I sense a drawing from the Lord to begin writing again.
Praying this modern day liturgy gives you words for the day and the week.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Though today may be hard
help me to find joy, to see the good in all things; increase my dependence on you.
Surely then, I can say,
‘I can do all things through God who strengthens me.’
Amen.
